4th Annual Make a Splash Event

Rain couldn't dampen the spirit at last Friday's 4th Annual Make a Splash event — and the WABS team wouldn't have missed it for the world.

Held at AKIN's Kent headquarters, the event brought together 21 community partners, including the Kent Fire Department, all united around a common goal: making a positive difference in the lives of those around them. The energy in the room was a good reminder of just how much can happen when a community shows up for each other.

WABS was proud to donate over 250 pairs of brand-new Western Chief boots — for all genders — contributing to what was a truly memorable day. A huge thank you to Elgin, Kristin, and Tori for being there alongside Fritz to help make it all happen, rain and all.

To everyone who helped pull this together — thank you. Four years in, and Make a Splash just keeps getting better.
