Low Income Housing Institute

WABS is proud to support our partners at the Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI) with another donation of high‑quality footwear for community members in need. This contribution will directly benefit residents of the Georgetown and Skyway encampments, providing comfort and protection during Seattle’s wet winter months.

Our latest donation was for 80 pairs of brand‑new Western Chief rain boots across all genders.

During the visit, we also had the opportunity to tour several of the tiny houses currently under construction for LIHI’s villages. It was inspiring to see firsthand the care and craftsmanship going into these spaces that will soon offer warmth, dignity, and safety to individuals transitioning out of homelessness.

We’re grateful for the work LIHI does every day and honored to play a small role in supporting their mission.
