Sustainable Renton Encampment Relief

On Tuesday, Wear A Big Smile (WABS) had the opportunity to help our partners at Sustainable Renton, an organization doing meaningful work for individuals living in nearby encampments.

Marc personally delivered it to their donation center, which also serves as an emergency food bank for two local encampments: Riverton and Henderson. Together, these communities are home to approximately 110–120 full‑time residents, many of whom rely on Sustainable Renton for essential resources. The facility also houses a group that builds tiny houses that are used throughout King County. 

WABS donated 115 pairs of new Western Chief boots across all genders—an incredible contribution. These boots will make a real difference for people facing harsh weather conditions and difficult living environments.
