Tacoma Rescue Mission Family Shelter

The giving didn't stop this morning — WABS made a second donation of the day, this time to our friends at the Tacoma Rescue Mission's Family Shelter.

We were proud to donate 195 pairs of brand-new Western Chief boots in all genders, helping to fully restock the shelter's boot closet. The Tacoma Rescue Mission's Family Shelter provides a safe, supportive home for women and children, typically housing residents for three to six months as they work toward stability and brighter days ahead.

Having access to warm, quality footwear is one small but important comfort during what can be a very difficult chapter — and we're grateful to be able to provide that for the families who call this shelter home, even temporarily.
