UGM Riverton Campus

This morning, Wear A Big Smile had the privilege of donating 45 pairs of brand-new Western Chief Men's boots to Seattle Union Gospel Mission's Riverton Men's Recovery Campus — a place doing truly transformative work.

The Riverton campus is home to men who have recently experienced homelessness and are on a courageous journey toward lasting freedom from addiction. Through one-on-one counseling, relapse prevention classes, educational opportunities — including the chance to earn a GED — and bible studies, the program meets residents where they are and walks alongside them every step of the way.

We believe that feeling equipped and cared for matters, especially during times of personal challenge and growth. We hope these boots serve as a small reminder to each recipient that their community is rooting for them.
