Union Gospel Mission's Emergency Men's Shelter

This morning marked a meaningful first for Wear A Big Smile — our inaugural donation at the Union Gospel Mission's Men's Emergency Shelter in downtown Seattle, just a few blocks from where Western Chief first got its start.

WABS was proud to donate 50 pairs of brand-new Western Chief Men's boots to support 50 residents who are graduating from the shelter's program. It's a powerful milestone in their journey, and we're honored to play a small part in helping them take that next step — literally — with quality footwear on their feet.

The shelter serves up to 250 men at a time through a year-long program, providing the structure and support needed to help individuals rebuild their lives. The dedication it takes to see that program through is something truly worth celebrating.
